Vintage Henri Selmer Paris C* Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece

$279.00
sold out

THE go to bass clarinet mouthpiece for generations of performers, the Selmer C* had a unique balance between power and refinement that made these pieces truly special. I wish that they were still being made.

This particular C* had the facing and tip rail reworked in the past but the interior appears to be original. I have cleaned it up, rebuilt the tip and rails and applied a Reuben-esque facing to it. It now measures a 48 mm lay with a 1.72mm tip opening. It’s highly responsive and has just the right amount of resistance for those moments when you really have to push it.
